2008 Toyota Highlander Exterior Overview
For 2008, Toyota launches the second production line of Highlander nameplate. It comes in three exciting trim levels, namely Base, Sport and Limited. Highlander has for long been the most popular mid-sized SUV in town. Also, it has been Toyota's one of the best-selling cars in its category. Both, interior and exterior of the car is given a nice look. The new model lives up to the customer's expectations from a sports utility vehicle. Exterior Look
The 2008 Toyota Highlander model comes with more stylish and elegant exterior look. It is more spacious and popular among those who wish to drive a smart SUV. New Highlander model has the required curves to offset the angles and that is the reason it looks more proportioned. It has a lush look with the creased headlights, flashy grille and characterless bumper. Dimpled reflectors on both the sides of the rear bumper make it a perfect car for the top-notch class. Engine
The 2008 Highlander model shares the same engine, it's predecessors used, the 3.5 liter cylinder that delivers 270 horsepower V6 2GR-FE engine, along with a 5 speed automatic transmission. Though the new model has become more powerful and has increased weight, the fuel economy is almost equal to the previous model.
