Toyota Highlander export to Saudi Arabia
What does a vehicle need to enter Saudi Arabia?
Imported vehicles must meet Saudi and GCC technical regulations, and conformity is registered through SABER, the product-conformity platform of the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO). Customs clearance is handled by the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA). Your customs broker or importer of record normally manages both.
Can I import right-hand-drive vehicles?
No. Saudi Arabia does not allow RHD vehicles to be imported for road use. All China-market Highlanders we supply are LHD.
Is there an age limit for used vehicles?
Yes. Saudi rules limit the age of imported used light vehicles — commonly cited as no more than five years from the manufacturing date. Check the current limit with ZATCA or your broker. Tell us your limit and we quote only compliant 2024 and 2023 vehicles.
Is a China-market Highlander suited to Gulf heat?
China-market vehicles are not built to "GCC specification". The Highlander has automatic climate control and rear air vents across the range, but ask our sales team about the specific trim and its cooling equipment before you order, especially for fleet use in summer.
Which Highlander sells best for Saudi buyers?
For families and fleets: the 2026 Highlander 2.5L hybrid with seven seats (5.82–5.97 L/100 km WLTC). Where fuel price matters less than towing and AWD: the 2.0T 380T with 8-speed automatic and on-demand AWD.
How is shipping arranged?
We quote FOB at the Chinese port or CIF to your Saudi port, by Ro-Ro or container. See the export process for what each Incoterm covers.
